Clients Arrive/Depart from Port Elizabeth International Airport in South Africa!

Start:

Day 1:

Your Guide will meet and greet you at the Airport upon arrival.

​

It is a 3 Hour drive from Port Elizabeth to Doodsklip Campsite in the Baviaanskloof where your Camp will be set up and ready for your arrival with a cold beverage and a welcoming Traditional African Braai Diner around the campfire.

​

You will meet the rest of the crew and be informed of what to expect fishing wise the next couple of days.

Our camp is totally wild with no electricity next to the Kouga River in the heart of the Baviaanskloof Reserve.

 

We provide 3m x 3m Dome Ripstop Canvas Tents with stretchers and duvet's, pillows and camping lights. We also provide bush hot water showers.  All the delicious meals on the fishing safari will be prepared by our bush chef on open fires two times a day!

 

Day 2 & 3:

We fish the Kouga River that flows into Kouga Dam for the next 2 Days for small mouth bass, carp and other freshwater species, that makes this River their home.

​

The Kouga Dam & Kouga River is a protected area for 104 years, since 1920, making this the Monster Freshwater Fish Paradise.

Policies on catching fish in this protected area - Catch & Release only. (All fish caught is to be released back, to ensure future fisherman the same experience)

Every morning there is a hot cup of coffee boiling and ready on the fire, to start your day  before fishing. 

Our bush chef prepares a heartly Breakfast/Dinner every day on a open wood fire, providing us with ample time for fishing through out the day.

 

Day 4 & 5:

After a early morning coffee and breakfast, we depart for Brakkeduine near the coast. Arriving at Brakkeduine you and your fishing guide will start fishing for large mouth bass while the crew set up camp.

We enjoy the calmness of this spectacular scenery of Brakkeduine. From Brakkeduine, Impofu Dam and Chuchill Dam is available to exploit for large mouth bass.

 

Day 6, 7 & 8:

After early morning coffee and breakfast we depart for the Sundays River Mouth, where we overnight for the next couple nights. We have the opportunity to Flyfish for Garrick & Skipjacks, other species also available. 

Here the Sundays River flows into the ocean providing us with a great opportunity for Freshwater & Saltwater fishing.

Day 9:

We wake up next to the beautiful Sundays River Mouth waters. We enjoy our last breakfast together.

​

Today is reserved for your outbound flight back home.
