Day 1: Arrival and Welcome

 

Welcome to your safari adventure!

 

On Day 1, all guests arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek.

Our friendly tour guide will be there to greet you upon arrival and escort you to your overnight accommodation.

Once everyone has arrived, there will be a group meeting to discuss the upcoming safari, introduce the team, and help you get acquainted with your 4x4 vehicle.

This will be a great opportunity to ask any questions and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

 

We look forward to welcoming you and starting this memorable adventure!

Day 2 - 11:

Namibia Itinerary Overview:

Windhoek:

  • Start your adventure in the capital city, where you can explore local markets, restaurants, and attractions to acclimate before hitting the road.

  • Opportunities to restock and refuel along the way, your tour guide will assist.

Sossusvlei:

  • Travel to Sossusvlei to witness the breathtaking red dunes, particularly Dune 45 and the surreal landscapes of Deadvlei. This area is famous for its incredible sunrise views.

Swakopmund:

  • Head to the coastal town of Swakopmund, known for its adventure activities and charming colonial architecture. Enjoy options like sandboarding or quad biking on the dunes.

Cape Cross:

  • Visit Cape Cross to see the huge colony of Cape fur seals, an incredible sight along the rugged coastline.

Twyfelfontein:

Day 12: 

After breakfast at the camp, we depart for Windhoek, drop off the 4x4 vehicles, and your tour guide will escort you to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your outbound flight.

Documentation:

  • Children must have a valid passport and an unabridged birth certificate and letter of consent if not accompanied by both parents

  • Guests from non-SADC countries will need a Visa if required for Namibia

  • A passport that is valid for 3 months after our return to SA, valid drivers license and ID

 

Health Precautions: 

  • No need for Malaria medication, Namibia where we travel is Malaria Free.

 

Packing: 

  • Pack lightweight and neutral-colored clothing for safari, along with binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
