• On rental 4x4 vehicles there are many options and price differences to choose from, 2 seaters or 4 seaters.

• A knowledgeable qualified expert local guide accompanies in a separate vehicle, leading and offering expertise on wildlife and safe set travel routes.

• With a limit of 12 participants or 6 vehicles as an group, the experience is more personalized and less crowded.

• The best time for a guided self-drive safari in Botswana and Namibia is during the winter months, typically from May to September.

• During this period, you can enjoy more moderate temperatures, making your adventure more comfortable.

WHY WE DO NOT CONDUCT GUIDED SELF DRIVE SAFARIS DURING SUMMER SEASON?:

• Temperatures to extreme in Namibia and Botswana. 

• Day temperatures generally in the 40 Degrees Celsius and can reach into the 50's, with Night temperatures in high 20 and even 30.

• It is raining season and most of Botswana is impassable to drive during the flooding of the Okavango Delta.

• Lots of water and food meaning less sightings of wildlife.
